Books & Blooms
Previously, a dark, wonky catch-all space midway up a staircase, hoarding storage boxes, aged furniture, and decades of dust and clutter. Today, this space is transformed into a charming study, drawing inspiration from the charm of an English cottage garden. The cosy room gazes onto the garden, basking in steady sunshine as trailing creepers frame the view. English colours, rattan furniture, and a generous scattering of art, lamps, and chests make the country-style interiors the perfect setting for curling up with a cup of tea or a good book.

Instead of keeping things neutral, I opted for a fully patterned scheme in the small space. An olive green upholstered rattan couch contrasts a delicate country-style wallpaper backdrop. Adding to the cosy and rustic ambience are scalloped-edged cushions, a vintage chest doubling as a coffee table and fresh blooms.
